Adventure awaits, and today marks the beginning of a powerful new journey for South Miami Heights Elementary! As your newly appointed Principal, I’m filled with excitement, purpose, and gratitude as we set out toward one clear goal: Destination A.
My 29 years in education, including over 7 years as an administrator, have taught me that leadership is about inspiring and empowering our community to achieve their best. At South Miami Heights Elementary, we are dedicated to leading with excellence. In my new role, I will wholeheartedly support our students academically, socially, and emotionally, committed to unlocking their full potential and preparing them not just for the next grade, but for a successful future. Our teachers will continue to provide meaningful and tailored lessons, encouraging students to explore, research, and inquire within the safe and nurturing environment we’ve diligently created.
This new chapter is exciting, and I’m eagerly anticipating the start of the school year. I can’t wait to welcome all students on Thursday, August 14th, 2025, and look forward to getting to know each of them personally. Open communication and a strong connection between home and school are vital to our success, so please don’t hesitate to reach out with any celebrations or concerns.

¡La aventura nos espera, y hoy marca el comienzo de un poderoso nuevo viaje para South Miami Heights Elementary! Como su recién nombrada Directora, estoy llena de emoción, propósito y gratitud mientras nos dirigimos hacia un objetivo claro: Destino A.
Mis 29 años en la educación, incluyendo más de 7 años como administradora, me han enseñado que el liderazgo consiste en inspirar y empoderar a nuestra comunidad para que logre lo mejor. En South Miami Heights Elementary, estamos dedicados a liderar con excelencia. En mi nueva posición, apoyaré a nuestros estudiantes académica, social y emocionalmente con todo mi corazón, comprometida a facilitar su máximo potencial y prepararlos no solo para el siguiente grado, sino para un futuro exitoso. Nuestros maestros continuarán proporcionando lecciones significativas y personalizadas, alentando a los estudiantes a explorar, investigar y preguntar dentro del entorno seguro y acogedor que hemos creado diligentemente.
Este nuevo capítulo es emocionante, y estoy ansiosa por el comienzo del año escolar. No puedo esperar para dar la bienvenida a todos los estudiantes el jueves 14 de agosto de 2025, y espero conocer a cada uno de ellos personalmente. La comunicación abierta y una fuerte conexión entre el hogar y la escuela son vitales para nuestro éxito, así que no duden en comunicarse con cualquier celebración o preocupación.
