Dear South Miami Heights Community,

I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal of South Miami Heights Elementary. With over 25 years of experience in education and more than 6 years as an administrator, I am passionate about fostering an environment where excellence thrives. My journey has taught me that leadership is not just about guiding others but about inspiring and empowering our community to achieve their best.

At South Miami Heights Elementary, we are dedicated to leading with excellence. In my new role, I will support our students academically, socially, and emotionally. I am committed to unlocking the full potential of each student, preparing them not only for the next grade but for a successful future. Our students will be encouraged to explore, research, and inquire, with our teachers providing meaningful and tailored lessons to meet their individual needs. We have worked diligently to create a safe and nurturing environment for all.

I am eagerly anticipating the start of the school year and can’t wait to welcome all students on Thursday, August 15th, 2024. I look forward to getting to know each of them personally. Open communication and a strong connection between home and school are vital to our success, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any celebrations or concerns you may have.
